TeachSci.AI is a curated list of activities to introduce high school students to AI and the sub-field of Machine Learning through scientific inquiry. These resources were designed and tested as part of the NSF-funded project “Preparing High School Students for Careers in Machine Learning through Mentored Scientific Research (award #204902), a collaboration between the American Museum of Natural History and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

TeachSci.AI activities were originally part of a 50 hour, multi-week institute held at AMNH. We’ve deconstructed the experience and provide hands-on activities, digital interactives & tools and decks that you can use, modify and adapt for shorter experiences.
